Pressed Metal (5) - Lotus Flower

$8.00 AUD

Description

What an amazing find here!  You won't see these pieces for sale separately in many places or websites!

These little pieces are hand made!  Yes!  You will see that every piece is slightly different.   I'm guessing they cut them by hand also.  Now buyer BEWARE the edges are VERY SHARP and they need to be handled fairly carefully - as in don't let the small children play around with them!

Individually made, unusual pieces, hand made from aluminium tin.  Pressed & cut with love, ready for you to hang on your project of choice.  Their touch of brilliant silver colour adds a bit of luxury & sparkle to your items.  They reflect the light, and will be very eye catching, no matter your use for them.

Team with up with a tinkling bell hanging from the string or from the bottom of the metal shape - you can string a few beads on also!

Approximate Measurements (remembering they are individually hand made):  9cm across and 7cm high

Quantity per pack:  5

Holes:   If you want holes use the end of a small nail, thumb tack, anything like this will help you punch the hole.  The tin is quite thin so easy to do.  Maybe put a piece of cardboard underneath to protect your work surface.  Think about the string you want to use before you punch the holes, so that it will fit through!

They don't lose their colour even in the sun & rain!

I've bought these into stock so you can enjoy making your own crafty projects.  Ideas for these decorations include:

  • Bunting
  • Edging on items such as sun umbrellas, outdoor hangings, wall art, curtains etc
  • Door hanger decorations
  • Window hangers
  • Mobiles
  • Christmas Tree decorations
  • Door Decorations
  • Valentines Day additions to packaging
  • Gift Tags & Gift Wrapping embellishments
  • Paper craft & Card making

My favourite is a trimming made by alternating with the pressed metal with a tassel, then pressed metal and so on.  Attach them by stringing a few beads, then the metal piece, then another bead, or even a bell!  I've seen this around sun umbrellas and temple umbrellas / parasols in Bali - they look really festive and when there's a breeze the little bells tinkle sweetly.
