6mm Round (25) - Transparent w. Light Purple Givre - Vintage Czech Glass Beads

Find the most gorgeous and unusual shade of purple swirls throughout the bead, in random patterning.  Every single bead is different.  This bead is a stunning example of 'givre' patterning. 

‘Givre’ is a French word which means ‘frosted’.  Not all beads given this title are actually frosted – some are transparent glass, but basically all givre beads have a colour within a colour – or sometimes even multiple colours – usually within a clear transparent glass

Small round beads like these are often called Druks.

These beads are from our famous bead haul years ago when we did a warehouse clearance from one of the original bead importers in the bead business in Australia.  You may or may not come across this style elsewhere, but not very often!  They are truly unique.
