34x28mm Hajj Pendant (1) - Red Transparent w. Gold - Vintage Czech Glass Beads

Vintage ruby red Czech glass pendants, often called ‘Hajj’ or Mecca beads, feature metallic gold Arabic script on both sides and were produced from the early 1900s to 1950s.  These transparent pendants were historically worn by Pilgrims featuring two different writings on either side.  Hajj is an Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the holiest city for Muslims.
