Minaret beads often feature intricate designs or shapes such as bottle necks, columns or ornate cylinders, reflecting the architectural minaret, which serves as a beacon. Often called the imām or yad (hand), is the final, largest piece of a prayer chain that connects to the tassel. It signifies the 100th (commonly used in 33 or 99-bead sets), secret name of Allah.
Use these beads to make, repair or beautify existing Islamic prayer beads, or as part of a handmade customized set.
The Picasso way of finishing a bead gives a speckled spotty effect, a really earthy look whilst the lustre enhances the coating, making this effect a really interesting bead to use - no two beads will ever be identical!
These beads originate from Czechoslovakia in the 1970s. They have a gloss finish and will give any project you use them on a definite touch of class!
Measurements: 27mm long x 7mm wide with a 0.8mm threading hole
Quantity per pack: 10
These beads are from our famous bead haul years ago when we did a warehouse clearance from one of the original bead importers in the bead business in Australia. You may or may not come across this style elsewhere, but not very often! They are truly unique.
