20mm Oval (5) - Garnet Red w. White - Vintage Glass Lampwork Beads

This bead is made from transparent garnet coloured glass with white opaque feathering patterns.  The inside of the bead core is white, which indicates it as a lampwork bead.  At first I thought it was black opaque, but then the light kept catching the colour and I realised that the bead is actually a really deep chocolate-y garnet red.  A really unique colour, and will lend some mystery to any piece you make with these!

Measurements:  20mm long x 13mm wide with a 2~2.5mm threading hole

The beads are old (but new stock).  We estimate they are circa 1970s.  We also call these Replica Trade Beads.
