Measurements: 36~40mm long x 18~20mm wide with a 1~1.5mm threading hole
Quantity per pack: 1 bead - chosen at random (beads may vary from the photos as each bead is individual - photo is a guide only).
Colours: These lampwork beads are an awesome opaque orange colour with 2 tones of orange blending together, with a rope design around both ends, of white and light blue punctuated by dots in the same colour. There is a band of shiny black opaque wrapped around the centre, usually about 8mm wide. These beads are magnificent and a real collectors item. Every single bead is different.
Origin: Hand Made in India - We believe this bead to be a reproduction of a Trade Bead. We have no other information about these at this time except for the shape name!
Of course you can use these beads in a project, whether it be for jewellery or decor, or just keep them as treasures in your stash! You might even like to put them out in a bowl for a talking point in your home.
Bead Shack made a huge bead haul around 2007, and these beads were quite old before that. The man we purchased them from used to collect large hauls of beads that became available, so who knows how long ago they were made! Our best guess would be around 1970s-1980s for this bead.
Disclaimer: We have tried to describe the beads as accurately as possible, from our own knowledge as well as any knowledge we can glean from the internet. Many of our vintage beads were made well before the internet became an everyday tool! We can only find information about beads that other people have listed! If you know any further information about any of our listed beads, please contact us and let us know - we would be so grateful!
