30mm Floral Joiner (1) - Red - Cinnabar Oriental Carved Bead

Take your beading to new heights with this interesting and totally unique feature bead!

This large floral bead is actually a 'joiner' bead.  There is a hole on each side to connect to your wire or jumprings. These will sit flat on your surface.  I've never seen beads like this until I found these guys and oh boy! what a find!  Do you agree? 

Measurements:  Size: about 31mm long, 32mm wide, 15~19mm thick, with a .8 - 1mm threading hole on each side

Today's cinnabar is most probably made from resin - sometimes still hand carved, and totally safe to wear.  Centuries ago, people became very ill from making/wearing cinnabar due to it's mercury content!
