Step into the timeless elegance of Art Deco design. For artists, designers, and admirers alike, its sleek lines, geometric patterns, and luxurious materials continue to captivate and inspire. Let this vintage style ignite your creativity across various mediums.
The Art Deco style was born in the 1920s and 1930s, at a time of great industrial growth and cultural advancement. It was first known as 'Style Moderne', but later adopted the name Art Deco from the Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, which took place in Paris in 1925 and showcased the style. Art Deco embodied sophistication, charm, practicality, and innovation.
This whole range of vintage range of beads is from stock we scored at a warehouse clearance haul years and years ago, around 2008 (but the beads were old by the time we acquired them)! In recent years some of the styles of beads in this range have been reproduced in cheaper plastic materials. You will notice the difference in the quality if you compare the feel of the bead, as well as the weight.
Made from lucite, with a beautiful matte coating and metallic gold detailing and are classed as Vintage Beads.
These 12mm round beads have 3 strips of patterning around, which almost looks like a chain pattern.
Circa: 1980-1990s

Origin: We are not certain, but feel these were made in Japan because of their high quality, which is a trait of anything made in Japan.
