When considering using this thread, think about your pattern, and how many passes you need to make through your beads, as well as the size of beads.
Size D is the regular, most commonly used thread size, so you may want to stock up on your colours for this size, and just have white and black for the thicker and thinner sizes in your beading kit.
Other Sizes:
Thicker: If you are making an item such as Bead Shack's Ocean Magic Necklace, you will want to use a thicker Size F Nymo thread.
Thinner: If you are making an item such as Bead Shack's Shabby Chic Bracelet which has many many passes through the beads, you will be grateful if you use Size O Nymo thread!
Tip: Using thread that is too thick when bead weaving can risk breaking your beads when pulling your needle through, if the hole in the bead is too full with previous thread passes.
Industrial nylon Nymo thread is an excellent choice for stringing small beads. It consists of non-twisted fibre filament. It's easy to thread and a basic for all sorts of stringing needs. Great for stringing craft projects and creating wearable beaded projects.
Tip: Nymo bobbins have their size on one side of the paper bobbin, like an imprint pushed into the paper. If you colour the imprint with a pen when you first receive your Nymo, you will always be able to see immediately which size it is! It is also handy to write the colour onto the bobbin as soon as you receive it. I have just done this with the stock of dark blue, because it is so easy to mix up with black! But I can't promise we will have time or remember to do this with all the stock in the future!!
