9mm Round (10) - Amethyst Frosted - Vintage Czech Glass Beads

Frosted beads I always find mysterious.  This gorgeous amethyst will really make you smile.  9mm beads are a bit of an unusual size to find - they were popular way back when but not really made these days.  The slight different to the normal 8mm or 10mm isn't really that noticeable but it adds a touch of uniqueness without anyone knowing why - it's the 9mm size that does it!

Round beads like these are the very basis of making great pieces.  Round pressed glass beads like these are often called Druks.

Measurements:  9mm with a 0.8mm threading hole

These beads are from our famous bead haul years ago when we did a warehouse clearance from one of the original bead importers in the bead business in Australia. You may or may not come across this style elsewhere, but not very often!  They are truly unique.
