7mm Round (10) - Clear Transparent w. Blue Givre - Vintage Czech Glass Beads

This bead is a stunning example of 'givre' patterning.  Every single bead is different.  7mm is quite an unusual size these days so you are buying something a little outside the norm.

‘Givre’ is a French word which means ‘frosted’.  Not all beads given this title are actually frosted – some are transparent glass, but basically all givre beads have a colour within a colour – or sometimes even multiple colours – usually within a clear transparent glass.

Small round beads like these are often called Druks.

Measurements:  7mm long with a 0.8mm threading hole

These beads are from our famous bead haul years ago when we did a warehouse clearance from one of the original bead importers in the bead business in Australia. You may or may not come across this style elsewhere, but not very often!  They are truly unique.
