15x13mm Nugget (10) - Brown Picasso - Vintage Czech Glass Beads

Turquoise always looks stunning with chocolate.  Look closely at the finish on these beads!

Made from a brown base of glass with a picasso coating, these beads originate from Czechoslovakia in the 1970s.  They have a gloss finish and will give any project you use them on a definite touch of class!  The nugget shape will look great on a necklace, bracelet or on earrings.  Use a small bead to separate the main 'star' of the show - it allows each & every bead to really shine - you'll be surprised at the difference your necklace will show if you use this method!

The picasso way of finishing a bead gives a speckled spotty effect, a really earthy look whilst the lustre enhances the coating, making this effect a really interesting bead to use - no two beads will ever be identical!  This bead seems to have a beige or white glass base, with the brown speckled finish over the top.

Photo:  You will see in one of the photos some of the beads have brown speckles, while others have a turquoise tone speckle as well.  You could match these beads up with quite a few colours to really utilise their Picasso effect!

Shape:  Nugget - a chunky look for the less classic designs!  Smooth on the skin, these would be fabulous on a bracelet (or of course anything else)!

These beads are from our famous bead haul years ago when we did a warehouse clearance from one of the original bead importers in the bead business in Australia.  You may or may not come across this style elsewhere, but not very often!  They are truly unique.
