Vintage Lucite acrylic beads, probably made in Germany around 1950.s to 1960s.
These unusual Baroque style beads have the hole going from side to side of the widest section, unlike most rondelle shapes which have the hole going down through the centre of the bead. This will give the beads a stunning effect once strung on your project, as they will sit entirely facing the outside of your design. The etched patterning is a Bohemian design. The beads have a barely visible line going around the outside of the bead, which is totally lost in the patterning.
Our stock is very old, as they were part of a huge bead haul we did around 2007, and they were really old before that.
Make anything you like with these! They will be great on earrings &/or necklaces, bracelets too. Such unusual beads will be sure to be a talking point with your friends!
