DESIGN, CREATE AND MAKE YOUR VERY OWN ITEMS AT BEAD SHACK’S

1 HOUR WORKSHOPS for DISABILITY CLIENTS

Just $25 per person when booking a group of 10 - includes materials - for more than 10 use the option in the drop down box to book extra spots 

Make necklaces, bracelets, hanging decorations, lanyards, lace up animals etc - all chosen to be achievable for each participant.  If any of our people struggle, our dedicated and trained staff are on hand to find larger beads, or more suitable projects immediately.

Bead Shack have extensive experience working with less abled people.  We have had positive & happy outcomes with people from all walks of life, including those who are totally bind, to some with just 1 finger to use, victims of head injuries, and so forth and so on.

Bead Shack are proud of the fact that we have always had a success no matter the customer - we simply tailor the beads and project to the person's ability.

If a customer is here for the first time, we start by sampling a few things to get the idea of what the fine motor control etc is like, then adjust the project accordingly.

We have a regular customer named Elise, who has non verbal autism.  She is in her 30s now, and has been coming to us once a week for years.  Every week Elise achieves amazing things, from making words (animals, colours, food) with letter beads - which has really assisted her everyday living and recognition of day to day words, labels, signs etc - to lacing beads together. 

You might be pleasantly surprised at the outcome from people's projects, as they are always able to do more than their carers and family think they can when it comes to beading!

Our Cancellation Policy for these classes:  Should you be able to give us 48 hours notice that your group will be unable to attend, we will refund your payment in full.  Any notice given shorter than that 50% of your payment is refundable, please email or phone us to notify.
