Part of a warehouse clearance we did a while back, these beads are old fashioned quality - probably manufactured around 1980s - made back when quality was just kind of expected, not hoped for! The lustre on the coating of these pearls is gorgeous. Beads just aren't made like this anymore ...
These are a pretty unusual shape for a pearl bead. Maybe years ago they were used as embellishment beads for garments - who knows? They make great legs for little people or Christmas decorations and would be fabulous for all sorts of craft and home wares projects. Of course you can make jewellery items from them also! Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, bag decorations etc.
